Cashmere Related
The Good Cashmere Standard (GCS), launched by the Aid by Trade Foundation (AbTF), uses market incentives to improve goat welfare, herder livelihoods and ecosystem health. Zhongding offers GCS certified cashmere across its luxury yarn ranges, ensuring responsible sourcing and quality.
Since 2015, the Sustainable Fibre Alliance (SFA) has driven sustainability in cashmere and other natural fibres by setting standards that protect grasslands, ensure animal welfare and improve herder incomes. Zhongding cashmere can be customised with SFA certified fibres to support a sustainable value chain.
The ICCAW (International Cooperation Committee for Animal Welfare) promotes localisation and global alignment of animal welfare standards in China. Zhongding endorses ICCAW’s principles and continually advances ethical practices in the cashmere industry.
Wool Related
The Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) is a third party certification covering sheep welfare, land management and social responsibility. Zhongding wool products are available with RWS certified wool to help clients build responsible supply chains.
Woolmark signifies pure new wool quality and performance. Zhongding selects top grade wool, with some lines carrying the Woolmark Pure New Wool seal.
Organic & Recycled Materials
The OCS verifies and tracks ≥5% organic materials through the supply chain for non food products. Zhongding provides OCS certified inputs on request to meet organic textile standards.
The GRS tracks recycled content (≥20%, 50% for GRS label use) along with environmental and social criteria. Select Zhongding products support GRS certified fibres, advancing circular economy goals.
Safety & Product Responsibility
STANDARD 100 by OEKO TEX? certifies textiles free of harmful substances at every stage. Zhongding products comply with this standard, assuring consumer safety.
The amfori Business Social Compliance Initiative sets global social responsibility benchmarks for labour, environment and ethics. As a member, Zhongding continuously improves its manufacturing practices.
Environmental & Quality Management
Ecodesign integrates environmental considerations across a product’s lifecycle. Zhongding applies these principles across select lines, balancing aesthetics and sustainability.
International Accreditation
The IAF unites accreditation bodies worldwide to ensure consistent, recognised certification results. All Zhongding management certifications are issued by IAF member bodies.
CNAS is China’s national accreditation authority, with mutual recognition agreements that lend global credibility. Zhongding’s quality and management certifications are CNAS accredited.
