Zhongding Natural Farm
The farm embodies Zhongding’s interpretation of “Goodness,” where one can experience the fusion of nature and culture firsthand as they walk through this vast land.
Zhongding blends scientific management with traditional grazing, preserving the farm's ecological balance and fostering harmony between humans and nature. White cashmere goats roam freely in Zhongding Natural Farm, feeding on natural vegetation and living a pure, natural life. Experience how Zhongding nurtures luxurious cashmere through “Goodness.”
The cliffs of the farm are adorned with over a hundred petroglyphs, vividly depicting the life and spiritual world of ancient nomadic tribes. The rock art includes scenes of hunting, grazing, dancing, competition, and celestial bodies, showcasing the rich history and unique charm of Alxa’s nomadic culture.
The name "Shàn Shè" combines "Shàn" (善), meaning goodness, and "Shè" (舍), meaning dwelling, symbolizing Zhongding’s commitment to care, sustainability, and harmony with nature in Alxa.
Shàn Shè is a house built by Zhongding in Alxa, integrating modern sustainability with clean water and solar power. It provides a comfortable, eco-friendly resting space for herders and visitors.
The exhibition hall at Shàn Shè highlights the journey of Zhongding cashmere, from the white goats of Alxa to the careful processes of selection, washing, combing, spinning, and dyeing, reflecting Zhongding’s respect for nature and craftsmanship.
Zhongding cashmere is carefully graded at its source based on fineness and length, selecting the highest quality raw fibers to ensure superior materials.
The “Journey of Goodness” takes brands not only through Zhongding Natural Farm but also to the partnered combing mill, where raw fibers undergo precise steps like “one wash, three selections, and eight combings.” This process ensures the selection of pure, soft, and high-quality cashmere fibers, laying the foundation for exceptional spinning craftsmanship.
